Nicole Kidman is "optimistic" about what the future holds.
The Practical Magic star, 58, is reportedly feeling "refreshed" for the new year after enjoying quality time with her daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, following her split from ex-husband Keith Urban after nearly 20 years of marriage. A source recently told People that Kidman "loves family time" and "spends a lot of time with her girls" and did just that with a getaway to Australia over the holidays.
Now back home in Nashville with her kids, Kidman is said to be looking ahead to 2026, a sentiment she previously shared while ringing in the new year.
"She is refreshed and optimistic about the new year," the source said. "They're all settling back in to their routine. Things have been calm."
The insider added that the Lioness actress is also focusing on her career in the new year, explaining, "She's looking ahead to a busy and exciting year professionally too, with several projects coming up."
Kidman filed for divorce from the country music star in September 2025, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking primary custody of their daughters. A judge finalized the divorce on January 6, and the former couple reportedly agreed to co-parenting classes and to make significant decisions for their kids together.
