Amid reports that Pete Davidson is in rehab for the second time this year, The Bachelor alum, Maria Georgas is here to shut the rumors down, including the rumor that she was secretly dating the Saturday Night Live star.
On her Instagram stories, Maria shared that she and Pete have never been an item, and that she is friends with his sister, Casey. Georgas wrote, "Never dated Pete. False rumor! I'm friends with his sister. Case closed." She added in another slide, "Just spoke to his sister he's not in rehab and has been sober for months. Can't believe this s***, it's very insulting to his recovery and my mental health. He's literally home."
Reports that Pete was in rehab again recently, after checking himself in earlier this year, began circulating after a source told US Sun, "He checked into rehab in Florida fairly recently, adding that he "flew on a private jet" to get there. The source also said, "He's in pretty bad shape this time around. He's not in a good place."
The source also told the publication that the reported rehab check-in comes on the heels of a "fling" with Georgas, who appeared on Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor, saying that Davidson "ended a fling with Maria just before he checked in," noting that the pair had only been dating "for a couple of months."
Additionally, a friend of the Saturday Night Live alum told Page Six, "Pete regularly goes to rehab for 'tune ups' and to take a mental break, so that's what's happening."
