As Hurricane Delta moved closer to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, Ricardo Pimentel opened up his door to not only 300 dogs but also numerous rabbits, chickens and even a hedgehog to shelter them from the storm. Ricardo said it didn't matter if the house was dirty or if the animals broke anything because all of that could be cleaned and replaced. He said he hopes his story inspires others to "leave footprints of kindness for others to follow."
