After a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Hybla Valley, Virginia, an unnamed man stepped in to detain the suspect until police arrived. Fairfax County Police say they believe the good Samaritan heard the gunshots and stepped up to prevent the alleged shooter from escaping until law enforcement could get there. A spokesperson for Fairfax County Police says they don’t recommend the public getting into such a dangerous situation, but they’re grateful for the good Samaritan’s assistance.
