When Arlyne Frankel retired at 79, she considered getting another job, but instead the divorced single mother and grandmother decided to pursue her dreams. First, she had the Bat Mitzvah she didn’t get as a teen and then, at 80-year-old, she enrolled at Florida International University to get her degree. After five years of study, she graduated this year with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and is now launching a new career as a motivational speaker.
