Georgia nurse Kim Still first became a nurse four years ago because she wanted to help people and she recently formed a close bond with an elderly patient who was dying. The woman was most concerned about what would happen to her pet Chihuahua, Jax, and when she passed away, her family gave the pup to a shelter. When Still found out, she headed to the shelter and adopted Jax, who she says is a loving dog and a constant reminder of why she became a nurse.
