This past Saturday, the Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama hosted a “Gas on God” giveaway, putting gas in the tanks of grateful residents for free. At a pair of locations, church representatives paid a total of $5-thousand to put gas in the tanks of over 200 cars. The effort was led by the church’s pastor Dion Watkins, who says they believe in giving back to the community and they hope other organizations will follow suit.
