Marzena Niejadlik‘s adopted Yorkshire Terrier, Rex, disappeared from her Dorchester, Massachusetts home in 2011 and she never saw the pup again. That is until last week when she received a call from an animal control officer in nearby Stoughton who’d found Rex scanned his microchip, and contacted Niejadlik. Rex was initially adopted to comfort Niejadlik after her brother passed away and his return comes just two months after Niejadlik’s other brother passed away, so she believes he’s returned to help her deal with the loss.
