Community Makes Wish Come True For Teen Battling Cancer

Last October, 13-year-old Gauge Townsend was diagnosed with bone cancer and had to undergo surgery to have muscle removed from his leg and his femur replaced with a metal rod.A Make-A-Wish style group in Pensacola, Florida wanted to give the teen a special day with a private viewing of the new “The Batman” movie with a group of his friends. When Gauge and his friends pulled up to the theater in a limousine, they were greeted by a crowd of around 75 costumed superheroes of all ages, cheering the guest of honor.
