Saturday morning, Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy William Puzynski responded to an apartment fire and found a woman and a baby calling for help from a third-floor balcony. Puzynski climbed up to the balcony, grabbed the baby from her mother, and lowered the child down to deputies on the ground. The baby’s mother and grandmother were rescued a few minutes later using a ladder, and fortunately, no one was injured in the fire or rescue effort.
