Virginia Teacher Runs To D.C. To Raise Money For Scholarships

On Monday, Virginia high school teacher Katharine Fletcher ran 105 miles from her school to Washington, D.C. to raise money for college scholarships. Since starting the annual run back in 2016, Fletcher’s raised over $70-thousand to help pay for college for students who’ve had to overcome adversity. For her, it’s not just about raising the money, but also about teaching the students to overcome their self-doubt.
