A homeless man in Texas whose family believed he was dead has been reunited with them after appearing on the news for rescuing a police officer from a fiery car crash. Johnny Walker’s family hadn’t seen him in months and heard he’d died in a stabbing, so they searched for the 53-year-old man in local hospitals and morgues, but didn’t find him. Then they saw him on T.V. being praised for helping to rescue a Harris County Sheriff’s deputy who was involved in a serious car crash and rushed to reunite with him.
