A 16-year-old lifeguard was only on her sixth day of work when she saved a woman’s life. Avery Pritchard noticed a woman in the deep end of the pool showing signs of having a seizure and drowning. The teen swam to the 28-year-old, brought her to the edge of the pool and fellow lifeguards helped get her out of the water, and she was checked out by EMTs in an ambulance.
