An Independence Day parade in Missouri came to a halt when someone along the parade route needed medical attention. Martial arts instructor Joan Cather was on a float that was stopped by a fellow instructor and off-duty police officer after he noticed the man in need. He had no pulse, but they did CPR and got the guy breathing again by the time first responders arrived.
