The Royal Family Shared New Photos Of Prince Louis For His First Birthday

The Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge Depart The Lindo Wing With Their New Son

Kate Middleton and Prince William shared new photos of their youngest child on Monday (April 22). The adorable photos of Prince Louis were released in celebration of his first birthday on Tuesday (April 23). The little prince is super cute, of course, and looking so much like his big brother Prince George.

Three new portraits were posted to Kensington Palace's official Twitter and Instagram accounts. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow," the post reads. "The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk."

Kate often takes the official portraits of her three children, including the first photos of Prince Louis released just weeks after his birth. Look how much he's grown over the past year:

Louis was most recently seen in the Cambridge family Christmas card, which was also taken at their Norfolk home. He's joined by his big sister, Princess Charlotte, and big brother, Prince George, in their first official portrait as a family released to the public.

Prince Louis's birthday falls just two days after his great-grandmother's birthday. (Yes, by great-grandmother we mean Queen Elizabeth II). It's likely Louis new cousin, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first child, will also have an April birthday. With Princess Charlotte bringing up the rear in early May, that makes four Royal Tauruses.

Happy 1st birthday, Prince Louis! Stay adorable!
