XXXTentacion Had $50,000 on Him When He Was Shot and Killed

New information is emerging regarding the murder of XXXTentation.

According to court papers obtained by CNNthe rapper had $50,000 stashed in a small Louis Vuitton bag in his BMW at the time he was shot and killed. The 20-year-old (born Jahseh Onfroy) was shopping for motorcycles at a Motorsports store in Deerfield Beach, Florida, when he was gunned down in his car.

In recently obtained video footage, three suspects—Robert Allen, Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Williams—can be seen waving around wads of cash just weeks after the incident. Each culprit has been indicted for murder.

Williams was the first to be booked and charged on June 20. Nearly a month later, 22-year-old Michael Boatwright, who is thought to be the first gunman, was arrested for first-degree murder. Allen and Newsome both remain at large. Newsome is thought to be the second gunman.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Onfroy had signed a $10 million record deal just weeks before his death and had been working on new music. Once his estate is settled, there will be more information on what his team plans to do with the unreleased material. His mother took to social media following Onfroy's death to let the world know he left "a final gift," inferring that her son was going to be a father.
