Armie Hammer Shares Rare Footage From 'Call Me By Your Name' Dance Scene

Call Me By Your Name had many memorable scenes, but Armie Hammer's interesting dance moves in the beginning of the film still remain a highlight. Over the weekend, the actor has shared some behind-the-scenes footage from the evening shoot via Instagram, and it is entirely worth your time.

"For anyone who thought I was exaggerating how terrible filming dance scenes is," Hammer captioned the Instagram video, which shows footage shot between takes while "trying to keep the non-existent vibe alive." Sure, the dancing is a sight to see, but if anything, it also goes to show how much magic happens in the post-production part of the process.

During Hammer's appearance on The Late Late Show, the actor opened up to James Corden about shooting this particular scene, revealing some of the studio tricks that happens in the edit bays. "When you're filming a dance scene, what they don't tell you is that there's no music. None," he explained. "Now that it's totally silent, and everyone in the room is staring at you, dance. I don't really have a go-to sober dance move, so this was all things I had to learn on the fly."
