“Heroic” Nurse Saves Baby Who Stopped Breathing Mid-Flight

About 30 minutes into Spirit Airlines flight 1691 from Pittsburgh to Orlando, a baby on the plane stopped breathing and needed medical attention. Fortunately, retired nurse Tamara Panzino was also onboard and quickly came to the baby’s aid, massaging the baby’s chest and legs until she started breathing again. Panzino doesn’t think she’s a hero, though, and credits everyone involved for coming together to help.
