A 101-Year-Old Seattle Woman Throws First Pitch At Mariners Game

Mabel Cross has been a fan of Washington state baseball for more than 40 years and to celebrate her 101st birthday, she got to throw out the first pitch at a Seattle Mariners game. She prepared for the big day by doing some cross-training, walking stairs, and practicing throwing the ball with her family members. When the day came, the centenarian jogged out onto the field to the cheers of the crowd wearing a Mariners jersey with “Mabel” on the back along with the number “101.”
