On Tuesday, May 3rd, Sherry Noppe took her black labrador Max for a walk in a 78-hundred acre park near their home in west Houston and never returned home. She was recently diagnosed with mild dementia, but her family said she was very familiar with the park and when she didn’t return home, they called the police and a search began. Search crews began looking for Noppe on Wednesday, continued their search on Thursday, and finally located her early Friday after following the faint sound of Max barking.
