On April 1st, an officer with the Anne Arundel County Police Department was on patrol when he heard a crash and found an SUV nearby that had crashed into a pond..The vehicle was taking on water and had four people trapped inside, so a supervisor and another officer immediately entered the waist-deep water to rescue the occupants..The officers broke the car’s windows and calmly pulled two young children from the vehicle and carried them to the shore before returning to rescue the adults. Fortunately, no one was injured.
