Last week, someone crashed their car into Debra Haynes-Knot‘s home in southwest Detroit, completely destroying the handicap ramp she uses to get in and out of her home. Daryl Kreip, owner of Designer Krafts, heard about Haynes-Knot’s ramp and offered to rebuild it for free with materials donated by his supplier, Builders First Source. After a week of not being able to leave her home without help, Haynes-Knot has her freedom back and her faith in humanity restored, all thanks to the kindness of strangers.
