A local couple got lost hiking in Hawaii and their 100-pound dog hurt his paws and couldn’t walk. They had no food, water, or cellphone power, but they got lucky when they crossed paths with 12-year-old Boy Scout David King and his mom. David made a stretcher for the dog, helped carry him out and guide the hikers home.
