Cheene [[SHIN-ay]] Hunt was only on her third day as a teacher at Pleasant Ridge Elementary when she saved a student’s life.The kindergarten teacher is being called a hero for her quick response in doing the Heimlich maneuver on a choking five-year-old.Hunt says it was scary, but her training from 18 years as an emergency room technician served her well.
