Family Collects 30K Pounds Of Food For “Free Little Food Pantries”

A Northern Virginia family started collecting food for those in need at the start of the pandemic and it has grown into something much bigger.Amber and Sterling Marchandand their four kids put a food collection box outside their home last June and since then, they’ve collected about 30-thousand pounds of food and started a program that puts pop-up, “free little food pantries” in local neighborhoods.
