If you're trying to avoid all the construction mess around the I-59/20 bridge shutdown, you know that Carraway Boulevard is the main detour people are taking. Well this weekend, ALDOT will be shutting down part of Carraway from Richard Arrington to 11th Avenue. ALDOT is now suggesting (just for the weekend) that motorists takes 24th Street to 11th and 12th Street to get around the construction work.
