No Charges in Trolley Bus Death

Posted May 19th, 2014 @ 4:37pm

The driver of a MAX Dart trolley bus will not face criminal charges in a woman's death.  Jefferson County District Attorney Brandon Falls says an investigation revealed no criminal wrongdoing in the death of 25-year old Pouneh Bahri.  The woman was killed in March, while crossing a street on Birmingham's Southside.  An attorney for the family, Mike Kendrick, says they may sue. A judge is ordering the transit authority to release information pertaining to the bus and the driver.
